Residential Landscape Development
Redlough undertook the soft landscaping package on this project.
As per landscape masterplan layout, the works can be broken up into
- Podium works
- Off podium works being the surround of the building
- The playground/open space park area.
Podium Works:
Topsoil was placed by groundworker on the project. redlough cultivate and planted up with a dense mixture per the drawings. Trees were all handled with care and underground anchored.
Off-podium works:
As per the above. The entrance to the site also required additional planting and attention with some feature trees and turf to welcome in prospective buyers to the marketing suite of the developer.
- Trees – 140 trees planted.
Largest is pinus sylvestris 35-40cm and Gleditsia triac. ‘Skyline’ 30-35cm. A large number of big multi stems were used also, the largest being 8mt high.
- Shrubs- 9658 plants planted ranging from p9-c10.
Redlough undertook the setting out and planting of shrubs on site.
Playground Works:
There is some of the development land that boarders a, small, existing park held by Fingal coco. A plan was made to incorporate some planting and rejuvenation of a section of the park near the development in coordination with the local authority. Redlough scope here was, 500 shrubs, turf roll out, lawn seed, meadow wildflower seeding.
Maintenance:
- On development- 12mts starting may 2024
- On park – 18mts starting June 2024.
