Residential Landscape Maintenance
Background
Since 2014, SAP Landscapes has been responsible for maintaining the Belfry. This stunning and mature development is located in the heart of Citywest.
The Selection
Our tender showed we were not only competitively priced but also brought experience and know-how for a development of this size. Our large workforce and substantial pool of machinery and resources displayed an ability to deliver and deal with setbacks.
SAP has already developed a strong working relationship with SPM and proven our ability to deliver on their projects.
Services Delivery and Overcoming Challenges
#1. Litter and Waste
Flytipping and rubbish is a significant issue on site. On average litter picking takes up to 3hrs per visit. Sofas, fridges and other large litter items are removed as required.
#2. Annual Pruning
Pruning of hedges and shrubs is done annually. Timing of this is essential to get best value from contract. The work is completed at the end of the summer growing season so the client has tidy and pruned site for 5 months of year. We do adhoc safety pruning outside of this and deal with requests to keep the grounds tidy during growing season.
#3. Young Population – Safety Management
The estate has high population of young children so in summer months works are challenging as kids are attracted to limited open spaces for play. Early morning works in targeted areas assists in dealing with this.
#4. Daytime Parking
Daytime parking is substantial around the estate making cleaning of kerblines and access to areas challenging.
#5. We provide a range of adhoc additional services
Services such as winter services forecasting, tree management, enhancement projects, road and hard surface repairs, additional reporting of non-contracted safety concerns, and annual road sweeping are provided.
#6. Strong Customer Relationships and Communication
We have a close relationship with both the Managing Agent and Resident Representatives. This includes a WhatsApp Group to communicate on site issues during each maintenance visit, keeping everyone up to date and in the loop.
