ALCI members complete Invasive Weed Identification & Control course at the National Botanic Gardens
30 representatives from ALCI member companies have recently completed an Invasive Weeds Identification and Control course at the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin given by Teagasc experts. The course taught the participants how to recognise invasive weeds, including Japanese Knotweed, Giant Hogweed, Himalayan Balsam, Rhododendron Ponticum amongst others. They also learnt how invasive weeds impact their environment and how they can be controlled.
